CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR FIVE NEW CHAMPIONS.
We had one International overall Champion and 5 Northern Challenge Champions. In addition to this, we had 18 BCOT members that rode more than one event in the International Oldtimers series and therefore qualified for the Northern Challenge results and perhaps even the overall results of the International Series.
I want to personally thank these 18 for their involvement in what I believe to be the best racing series on the planet. I hope their 2011 plans will allow them to continue to participate in these fabulous races, if not even expand their involvement.
I would also like to thank all our members that participated in our International race at Agassiz this year and our 2101 race will be June 18 & 19, so hopefully you will join us again for a fabulous weekend of camaraderie and fun racing against your same age and skill level. I also encourage all of you to try one of the other International races for the same reasons. You get to meet new friends, from far away places, that can last a life time.
I have attached the tentative series schedule for your information, so you can start your plans for next year. Through no fault of the clubs, sometimes circumstances develop that forces a club to change its date but, at the moment, these are the scheduled dates.
We covered the 40 and 50 Experts classes and the 40, 50, and 60 Amateur classes. A fabulous year.
Check out www.bcoldtimers.com for the list of Champions and Honourable mentions. On the front page is a link to the International Overall and the Northern Challenge results, to see how everyone finished.
Thanks for your support and Happy Riding.
