World Enduro Canada brought Cross Country racing to Walton in 2011 and over these years this facility has become a favorite with many racers. The course is definitely to the advantage to those that are truly fast and have motocross speed and skill. Almost the entire National motocross track is used and is complemented by a grass track, fast forest trails and man made obstacles. This fantastic course even offers excellent spectator opportunities.
Saturday will feature the WEC Moto Cross Country format of two motos, one hour each for all adult classes. A live engine start with motocross starting gate will be used. Due to this format, it is very important for racers that normally ride the afternoon program to show up early – need to be signed in ready to ride by11am with registration opening at 8am.
Sunday will return to the Classic Cross Country format of two hours for all adult classes and 2.5 hours for Pros. Sunday will continue to feature the live engine start with motocross gate.
Tons of prizes will be awarded at the series finale. As at every round, the Wiesner Insurance $100 Pro Holeshot Award will be presented both days along with the Wiesner Insurance $100 fastest Lap award. We will be giving away two sets of Pirelli Tires each day as we have all year along with many additional prizes courtesy of series sponsor Parts Canada.
