Motopark Weekend! @cmrcracing round 2 of it’s Spring Series Sunday May 8 @motoparkracing

– Posted in: Uncategorized
CMRC Motocross will drive through the gates of one of Canada’s longest running Motocross race facilities once again for round 2 of it’s Spring Series Sunday May 8.

MOTOPARK, located just off Hwy 6 22kms. North of Durham, Ontario,
offers a full range of activities for the core sports fan. In addition
to its main Motocross Track, MOTOPARK also features one of the finest
mini tracks in the country for beginner riders as well as 50 c.c.
racers. New this season is the addition of a BMX dirt park currently
under construction with an opening of May 20. Motocross Pro and School
Instructor Zeb Dennis, is also an avid BMX rider and will design and
build a course which he feels will be a great addition to the Park.
Zeb commented, “I look forward to helping young riders learn the
various techniques associated with BMX in addition to my Motocross
training duties at MOTOPARK.”

Also featured at MOTOPARK is the Off Road Café serving great food, a
full service Pro Shop, Hotel units and Motorcycle and BMX bike
rentals. MOTOPARK also provides training to new and experienced riders
and features 10 weeks of 5 day summer camps starting June 27. Another
great addition to the park is Fort Moto Paintball Park and our new
Military Challenge Course with programs designed specifically for
Motocross athletes. Both areas open May 20.

Motocross is the parks main attraction and several upgrades, most
notably the addition of new soil late last fall, have improved the
track immensely. MXP Magazine Editor and Pro Motocrosser Ryan Gauld
commented “I’ve been riding at Motopark a lot of years, this
spring was one of the best days of riding I have ever had there. I
can’t wait for the race this weekend and I hope everyone comes out
to support new owner Iain Hayden and the Team at Motopark.”
