WLTN KAWASAKI SETTING UP FOR THE 2024 CANADIAN TRIPLE CROWN SERIES.

Walton, Ontario – A refreshed rider combination will lead WLTN Kawasaki into the 2024 Canadian Triple Crown Series, with eyes on competing for title wins when the gates drop on the upcoming season.

WLTN Kawasaki will field the all-star line-up of Canadian talent led by Tanner Ward on a 2024 Kawasaki KX450, alongside Quinn Amyotte aboard the 2024 Kawasaki KX250 under the guidance of Team Manager Steve Simms and Team Principals Brett Lee and Melody Hodgson.

Entering his third season in the 450 championship Tanner Ward has his eyes set on being a title-contending threat. The Woodstock Ontario native closed the 2023 season with three of four moto podiums after moving to the 450 class for the last two rounds. Ward’s maturity and style fit the 450 machine and firmly established him as one of the premier riders in the 450 class.

Athlete: Tanner Ward“I’m feeling charged for the start of the 2024 series! I am excited about Kawasaki’s all-new 450 bike, ready to build off 2023 and I know that working with Steve Simms under the tent will make for a great 2024. I love the dynamic of the team and working with Mitch Godkin again as my mechanic is a big plus for me. There’s a level of expectation that comes with heading into 2024 as the lead guy on the team and I welcome the challenge, especially with the full support of WLTN Kawasaki behind me.”

Quinn Amyotte makes his official debut with WLTN Kawasaki after signing a deal earlier this fall. Amyotte is determined to build upon the 2023 campaign that saw him claim sixth overall in 250 despite missing multiple rounds with an injury. He returned in impressive form with a convincing third in the Triple Crown Arenacross Series and took home the 2023 Pro Am AMO Arenacross Championship. Those results will form a strong foundation for the 22-year-old to work from in the upcoming season, motivated to establish himself at the front of the pack year-round.

Athlete: Quinn Amyotte:“I am ready for the next level in my racing career. When I talked with WLTN Kawasaki this fall we all discussed the expectations that we both had for each other. I am ready to compete for a National title, to be one of the guys each week in the fight. I have had some time on the Kawasaki and I feel comfortable on it. I have talked with my mechanic Jadon Brown and we are ready to start working towards my goals in 2024!”

New to the team is Team Manager Steve Simms. Simms comes to WLTN Kawasaki with an extensive racing resume in Canadian racing and around the world. Leading several teams, including his own, Steve will bring experience and knowledge that will give the team techs and riders a technical advantage in 2024.

Steve Simms – WLTN Kawasaki Team Manager:

“Our 2024 team is excited to start the new race season. It is new to me, so getting to know one another and developing their bikes specific to the riders’ needs and riding styles will be a challenge, but I am excited to take that on. I have a great relationship with both Brett and Melody, and we have been clear with each other about what we each expect. I believe in the riders on the team and I am excited to work with both Jadon Brown and Mitch Godkin helping them give the riders every opportunity to be successful. This is exciting for me to have this opportunity, and I am motivated to be successful with WLTN Kawasaki.”

Brett Lee – Principal WLTN Kawasaki

“I am very impressed with the dynamic amongst the WLTN Kawasaki team and I’m looking forward to the start of the new season. We want team players and riders who fit into the team, earned their place on this team, understand the expectations of Pro racing and are prepared to deliver results. The riders, and the technical support team all understand what we want to achieve in 2024 and the work it will take. It is a very exciting time for this team and I can’t wait for round one.”
