We encourage all racers to support their local or regional organizations. We see first hand that Canada has a variety of clubs and organizations from coast to coast. Walton Raceway is working with all these clubs and organizations, with the goal of keeping money in each local region to directly support the growth of Motocross in Canada at the grass roots organizational level, as these groups are the ones on the ground operating Regional Motocross Racing across Canada.
Walton Raceway and The Parts Canada TransCan Canadian Motocross Grand National Championship Event fully supports both Canadian Motocross Regional Events; The WCAN in Raymond, Alberta and The ECAN in Deschambault, Quebec. The winners of these events, will be able to wear a 1W or 1E at the TransCan, just like in all past years. Walton Raceway is very excited to reach the milestone, 25th Anniversary, with The Celebration of Canadian Motocross, as we host the battleground for the Canadian Motocross Amateur Grand National Championship and the crowning of Canada’s Motocross Champions from coast to coast.
Entries and Deadlines
All entries will be confirmed after all ANQs across Canada are completed in June. The Early Bird Pre-Entry deadline is June 1st, while the Pre Entry deadline is June 22nd. If you register after this date your ANQ results will not be taken into consideration, no matter how well your results were. Full refunds for cancellations will be processed until July 11th.
How Regional Qualifying Works
Riders are encouraged to participate in the Amateur National Qualifier events (ANQs) that rank your positioning for the TransCan. Entry priority is determined by the results from each Regional ANQ Series and the Regional Entry Allocations. Additional regional entries and entries for lower qualified riders will be accepted if allocated positions are not filled. Time of entry was received and paid in full does come into play in the case of a tie in points for position and or the “0” points tie breaker after full regional allocations have taken place. If you are unable to attend and ANQ event still register asap. The bracketed number (x) below is the minimum number of guaranteed pre-entry gate positions allocated per region for each ANQ Championship Series.
