Walton Raceway Annual Double Header Amateur National Qualifier (ANQ) June 8-9

THE FINAL SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO AMATEUR NATIONAL QUALIFIER

Presented By: Parts Canada, Thor, Alpinestars, Wiseco Performance, Scott-Sports, Pepsi, Rockstar Energy Drink, Honda Canada, Kawasaki Canada, Yamaha Canada, KTM Canada, Battlefield Equipment Rentals, Renegade Fuels, Sunstar, Two Wheel Motorsports, Hully Gully and CORE Motorsports

This event is the final Amateur National Qualifier (ANQ) for the southwestern Ontario region of CMRC (Canadian Motorsport Racing Club). Success at the ANQs is critical for riders wanting to participate in the August 13-18 Parts Canada TransCan – Wiseco Amateur Canadian Grand National Motocross Championship at Walton Raceway.

The 2013 Parts Canada TransCan – Wiseco Amateur Canadian Grand National Motocross Championship is a limited entry event which only accepts riders from across the country who have demonstrated their ability by placing in the top ranks of their respective regional qualifiers. In Southwestern Ontario only the top 11 riders in each class qualifier are guaranteed a starting gate position at the TransCan! More can get in, space permitting, but only the top 11 know for sure.

The support of our sponsors has enabled us to offer the two day format which results in longer motos and better track maintenance so make sure when you see logo around the track you support the people who support Canadian Amateur Racing!. For the past 7 years the Walton Double Header in June has seen the biggest rider entry of any event in the country. Not only that, but with so much at stake, it attracts competitors from neighboring states and provinces for some of the most intense battles and spectacular displays of skill you will see short of the August Parts Canada TransCan.

All weekend we have exciting activities planned at Walton Raceway, as throughout the day class winners will be invited for podium interviews, as well as, take part in an end of the day trophy presentation. Hopefully the weekend’s weather will  perfect for Motocross and all the great family fun. Ice Cream will be onsite both Saturday and Sunday to offer everyone a cool treat. In addition to ice cream, Walton Burger Bar Food Service will also be onsite serving fries, hot dogs, hamburgers and more.

Hot Showers for Everyone!

On Saturday evening, Cloud Chasers Balloon Rides, will be offering hot air balloon rides for racers and spectators to take an aerial view of Walton Raceway and Ontario’s West Coast. Along with that the RC car track will be up and running, BMX/Bicycle park and half pipe will be running, Walton Raceway Movie Night and more!

And finally, do you want to go home with a PRIZE this weekend? Walton Raceway will be having contests throughout the day for people who: Check into Walton Raceway on Facebook, Post Us, Tweet Us and Tag US, as you share how your day is going at Walton Raceway through Social Media!
