Walton Raceway is Partnering with All Organizations, Clubs and Regions for ANQ’s, That Qualify Racers for The Parts Canada TransCan: Canadian Motocross Amateur Grand National Championship
The Parts Canada TransCan: Canadian Motocross Amateur Grand National Championship & Canadian Motocross Grand National Pro Open Will Not Require a Specific Membership to Compete At; Instead we Encourage Racers to Support Their Regional Organization or Clubs to Strengthen and Grow Canadian Motocross at the Grass Roots and Regional Level.
Walton ONT. (December 4, 2015) – Walton Raceway is focused on growing Canadian Motocross and that direction starts with the grass roots of Amateur Motocross. We are excited to announce that the TransCan will no longer require racers to belong to one organization to compete at the TransCan, Instead we want to encourage all racers to support their local regional tracks, clubs and organizations to grow Canadian Motocross from coast to coast.
Walton Raceway is working with and including everyone. Every Region and every Club across Canada will have the ability to host an Amateur National Qualifier (ANQ), regardless of what type of Membership or Affiliation they are part of, as we are all part of Motocross in Canada.
As an example in Manitoba they will run ANQs under MMA, In Ontario, AMO will manage ANQs, but AMO, TVR and MMRS are all working together for regional ANQ’s in the Southwestern and Eastern Ontario Regions. In Central Ontario we will work with the Northern Ontario Series. Across the country we will continue working with VIMX, Future West, BCMA, ADRA, AMSA, SMA and the Atlantic and Quebec Regions. Together we will be connected from working all together at the regional level.
Supporting the infrastructure of your local regional organization or club is critical to the ongoing stability and growth of our sport and it all starts with Amateur Motocross. In each region of the country there is a different Regional or Provincial Club or Organization that executes a regional series. This only exists because it is the work by these clubs and organizations that directly host these events, managing and running the races with local tracks. Walton Raceway would like to support all of these regional tracks, clubs and organization, by keeping the money within these regional clubs and organizations so that the can grow and promote there organization and events, simply because they are ones that can do more than anyone else to grow Motocross in Canada for years to come by offering amateur motocross racers a place to ride or race.
Further details on ANQs and the 2016 Parts Canada TransCan; Canadian Motocross Amateur Grand National Championship ANQ Schedule will be released in the new year. For any additional tracks, clubs or organizations that are interested in hosting a Regional ANQ, please contact Mark Perrin at Mark@MotocrossCanada.ca or call 519 384 1067.

About The TransCan
In 1992, the TransCan was created as Walton Raceway would hold an annual event drawing on all the best things in the sport, an annual coming together for bragging rights, a celebration of Canadian Motocross. The TransCan was built from a great natural track, strong community support, accessibility and support from the Industry. The emphasis was to be real outdoor style motocross, highly competitive with lots of extracurricular attractions and opportunity for the best Canadian racers in all age classes to compete against each other for a Canadian Amateur and Pro Motocross Championship.
