Flat Track

Walton Raceway is proud to have a 1/8 mile oval flat track. In 2022 we will be hosting school, practice days and races!
Have you ever wanted to try flat track?
Flat Track Canada Inc. will be hosting a Flat Track school at Walton in 2022.  They will be welcoming up to 18 riders during each session for a guided introduction to flat tracking.
The morning sessions run 9am to 1pm and the afternoon sessions run 2pm to 6pm. During the four-hour session there will be multiple classroom style lessons on how to handle the bike, where to sit, typical body position and technique, passing, race lines and so much more. You will then have on track time to apply what you’ve been taught, all the while having pro level racers as instructors giving pointers for the fastest way around the oval.
What’s required?
You just need to arrive and ride. Simple, right? We will provide three different bikes you just choose your comfort level. You will have access to Honda CRF450, CRF250, as well as CRF150. Unlike other schools, we do not assign anyone to any particular bike. This allows you to try them all and find your comfortable fit. Included in this school we also provide all the necessary gear. We do suggest that if you have your own gear, you can bring it, you’ll always be more comfortable wearing what you own. In any case we can “fill in the gaps” if needed. You are more than welcome to use all our gear, so no need to stress if you don’t have your own. We also provide you with the classic flat track steel shoe. Great news is there is absolutely no experience required. New to motorcycling? Riding for years but want to try something new? This school is for you!
I’m in, now how do I save my spot?
Let us know what date you would like and if you prefer the morning session or the afternoon session. Also be sure in your response that you include if you have friends interested in the course as well. Tell us how many will be joining your group and please include their names. You can call or email at Info@flattrackcanada.com or 1-226-203-2100.
Once Flat Track Canada Inc. have received your confirmation of when you would like to join us, they can go ahead with a deposit to hold your spot.
The deposit is $50, which can be made several ways.
Send a E-transfer to Info@flattrackcanada.com Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover also accepted.
You’re then locked in and ready to go!
You will have until 30 days before the scheduled school to cancel and receive your deposit back, any cancellations after will be deemed non-refundable. The remaining balance owing will be $280 + HST, which can be paid the day of using the same methods as previously described. If your session gets rained out or cancelled for any reason at all we can reschedule you to a later date.
Group Rate
If you’re interested in hosting your own group of riders, we offer a discounted rate. This means you fill a class with a minimum of 12 riders. We can work with any budget. Give us a call and we can work out a group rate for you and your friends, or even a corporate rate for your business. It’s a great way to bring your employees together!
“What if I break something on the bike?” We offer an optional insurance package which will cover everything on the bike from any accidental damage, be it a Clutch Lever, handlebars, or exhaust. No need to fret about replacing anything. This rate is only $30 for the day.
