Organization:
Riders will be grouped based on skill level. Typical groups:
Group 1 – small wheels
Group 2 – Beginner/Junior level
Group 3 – Pro/Intermediate
This may vary subject to numbers and skill levels. It is self-regulated so test yourself at a lower skill level and if you want to ‘move up’ request a wristband upgrade. The track may be cleared at times for maintenance as necessary. We will make every effort to maintain a safe environment while maximizing your experience.
Safety:
This is a ‘practice’ not a competition and riders have the primary responsibility to act in a safe manner and look out for their fellow riders. Flaggers are meant to supplement personal vigilance. There are safety marshalls at critical points around the track and flags should be watched for and obeyed.
Sign in:
All riders must sign participant releases. If under age there must be a signed parental release on hand. Different colour wristbands will be assigned to various skill groups. Wristbands must be worn on the left wrist and displayed to the event monitor before entering the track. Make sure you are in the right group. Enter and leave the track only at the designated access point.
Fees:
Riders – $30 per day
Spectators – free
Camping overnight – $20 per vehicle (rough)
Time:
Start 10:00 am
